• One of my supporters Mike Martin is hosting a meet and greet for me Sunday, August 8th at 2 pm. His address is 3415 Stonehall Court, Calverton, MD 20705. Any voter in District 1 who wants to get to know me is welcome to come.

• One of my supporters Salome Peters is hosting a meet and greet for me Thursday, July 29th at 7 pm. Her address is 13216 Rabbit Chase Rd, Laurel, MD 20707. Any voter in District 1 who wants to get to know me is welcome to come.

Past Events

• On Monday, July 12th I met with seniors at Selbourne House, which is housing for seniors on Main Street in Laurel. We talked about the issues they are concerned about from traffic improvements on Main Street, safety, and the need for greater access to bus transportation.

• I hope everyone had a great 4th of July weekend with food, family, and fireworks.  I had a fun time marching in the Laurel parade with enthusiastic supporters this past Saturday, where I introduced myself to voters and saw familiar faces in the crowd.  Later that day, my family and I went to Laurel Lakes to watch a great fireworks show.

Election Day

The Democratic Primary for the County Council election is scheduled for Tuesday, September 14, 2010.  This will be the first election we will have early voting in the State of Maryland, so watch for news on your voting opportunities.
